My 21-month-old son, Augustine (Auggie), has been fighting for his life since birth. He was born with hydronephrosis and a ruptured urethra, which has led to countless medical challenges. Right now, he has a vesticostomy, meaning his bladder hangs out of his tummy, and he urgently needs a kidney transplant. As his mother, watching him go through so much pain and so many surgeries has been heartbreaking. Since birth, Auggie has endured 14 surgeries, each one more difficult than the last. This upcoming kidney transplant is the most serious and traumatic for both of us, and we are doing everything we can to give him the best chance at a healthy future. The funds raised will go directly toward medical bills, treatment, and recovery. Every dollar will help us cover the costs of his care and support his journey toward healing. I’m reaching out to the community, hoping we can come together as one for Auggie. Every share and donation will mean the world to him and our family. Your support, whether big or small, will make a difference in his life and give us hope during this incredibly difficult time.
