Hi there, my name is Trista Baskin, im one of Brittany and Mikes bestfriends, their sweet daughter Audrey is currently at CHOC hospital in Orange county.. she has been in the hospital since 12/21/2021 and didnt get to Celebrate Christmas as most of you know and are following along our sweet princess Audrey has tested positive for Rhino enterovirus which has attacked her lungs and trachea. Audrey has been sedated and is currently on a ventilator.. Since being admited, her team of doctors at CHOC have performed a CT scan to take a look at her heart and lungs and have found that she has Patent Ductus Arteriosus, which means the connection from her sweet lil heart to her lungs did not close like its supposed too causing her to not get enough oxygen... Sweet Audrey will be needing to have open heart surgery as soon as she beats this virus to close off the connection to avoid further complications in life if not it can lead to heart failure.. As all of you are aware Brittany and Mike moved to Texas.. which means their jobs home everything they own are currently back in Texas.. They have decided to keep Audrey at CHOC since its the BEST childrens hospital around and Brittany will need to move back home to California until Audrey is well and healthy enough to travel. We are asking for donations and prayers and whatever your heart tells you. We just want our sweet baby girl to heal and recover♡
