On Thursday, June 24, 2021, I  ran into my classmate from high school (Class of 1980). We were close friends back then through her freshman year in college. When I asked her how was she doing, she immediately told me she was homeless since May when the house she was living in caught fire in the middle of the night.

Shocked, I drove up to her neighborhood to help her to check on her dog and to see the condition of house.  Sadly, she is storing and interchanging needed items in broke down cars. She called out a few times for the dog and it came running from nowhere, so happy to see her!
