Help Audrey Get the Life-Changing Treatment She Needs
Hi friends, family, and anyone who feels led to help —
We are reaching out with humble hearts to ask for support for our sweet Audrey.
In May, Audrey was diagnosed with Central Precocious Puberty (CPP) — a condition that causes the body to begin puberty far too early. Very quickly, we saw emotional and physical changes that no six-year-old should ever have to navigate. Imagine 13-year-old emotions in a 6-year-old body… it was overwhelming for her and for us.
After weeks of fighting insurance, countless phone calls, and appeals, we were finally able to get her medication approved in June. Audrey received her first injection — and within days, we got our fun, spunky little girl back. The medicine was doing exactly what she needed it to do, and we were so thankful.
She is due for her next injection on December 11th, so I called to have the medication shipped like last time.
That’s when I was told the cost was $54,594.36.
Last time, after all the insurance battles, we paid $10.
But without any notification, our insurance company changed their formulary in November — and Audrey’s life-changing medication is no longer covered at all.
We have tried everything — every appeal, every program, every workaround. We have left no stone unturned. As of right now, if Audrey is going to continue the treatment she truly needs, we have no choice but to pay out of pocket.
This is not a number any family can prepare for. We are exploring every possibility, including a second mortgage, because we will do whatever it takes to get Audrey the care she needs and deserves.
How You Can Help
If you feel led, any donation — big or small — brings us one step closer to keeping Audrey healthy, protected, and on the treatment that changed her life.
Your generosity means more to us than words can say.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for praying, sharing, donating, and loving our girl with us.
We are believing for a way forward and are grateful for every single person who comes alongside us.
With love and gratitude,
Our Family & Audrey
