I am incredibly excited to share that I have been selected as a conductor for the 2026 Blue Stars! Drum Corps International (DCI) is a marching arts organization with some of the best marching musicians in the world. And this season, I am lucky enough to be with the Blue Stars. This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to march with my dream corps, and it means the world to me as a music education student in college. Being able to conduct for a drum corps has been a dream of mine for years, and now that it’s within reach, I am determined to make the most of it.

However, the tour fees required to participate are quite high, and covering these costs on my own is a challenge. This experience is not only my passion, but it also directly connects to my studies and future career in music. The skills and memories I will gain from this opportunity will help me grow as a musician and educator, and I am eager to bring what I learn back to my community and future students.
