I’m Nell Abram and I’m hoping to help my daughter and her boyfriend restart after their Tampa apartment was completely flooded by Hurricane Helene.

Audrey and Trevor lost nearly everything they own. The water line on the front door tells the story: at least a foot of water, mud, and muck coursed through their two-bedroom apartment. When we were finally able to get in to assess the damage, the cabinets were still filled with standing water, their electronics were face down in the muck, their closets and dressers saturated and stinking. All the furniture was soaked and already molding by the time we could get in. The living room rug was covered in mud and unrecognizable. They were able to salvage from top cabinets and high closet racks, but everything else was ruined. They know there are lots of people way worse off than they are and are hesitant to ask for help. That said, they are pretty much starting from scratch. Audrey just started grad school, so they are really stretched thin. If you’re looking for a way to help, they (and I) will really appreciate your support. All monies raised will go directly to them to replace the households goods and personal belongings destroyed in the flooding.
