On Sunday, July 6, 2025, the Mangiaracina Family was involved in a terrible car accident. Corrina was with her 3 children, Audrey (9), Vincent Jr. (6), and Izzy (3), when the crash occurred. Izzy was able to walk away from the accident. Corrina and her 2 older children had to be air lifted to the closest hospital that could support their needs, 3 hours away.

Audrey and Junior were both taken to Children’s Minnesota for their injuries. Both Audrey and Junior have had significant traumatic brain injuries from the accident and remain in the ICU, intubated and sedated. Junior is undergoing cooling therapy to help minimize further damage and keep his intracranial pressure low. Audrey has required surgery to fix a skull fracture and repair her frontal sinus. She likely will require additional surgeries down the road. At this point they are taking things hour by hour, day by day.

Corrina suffered a deep laceration to her side that required surgery as well. After surgery and an evening at Hennepin Hospital, she was able to join her children at Children’s Minnesota Hospital.

Both Vince and Corrina are needed in Minneapolis to be there for their children. Their family will continue to be in Minneapolis for an unknown amount of time for all of the care and rehabilitation that will be needed. The funds raised will go to directly support Audrey and Junior’s medical and rehabilitation costs, as well as the costs for their parents to stay at their bedside while they recover from their injuries. As a family, they have a long road ahead of them. Thank you for all the prayers and support they have received.
