Help Audree and Her Study Abroad Adventures in Greece!

Hi everybody! I am Audree Garcia Buono, a Junior at Texas Tech University, studying Human Development and Family Sciences. I've gotten the amazing opportunity to study abroad in Greece for 2 weeks from June 14-27 this summer. This program is directly through my degree program and is led by two of my department leaders. Traveling to Greece has been a longtime dream of mine. Not only does this opportunity allow me to live my childhood dream, but it will also greatly impact my educational career and future professional connections!

I will be traveling throughout the Greek islands and on the mainland in Athens! A couple of the stops include Santorini and Crete! Throughout the trip, I will be applying coursework on how ancient Greece has influenced modern societal norms regarding gender and societal roles!

I have been awarded some scholarship money from the Department of College of Health and Human Sciences at TTU, and some financial aid will help cover the costs. Your donations will help with extra spending money, tuition, transportation, and meals while in Greece!
