The Journey So Far
Five years ago, our lives changed forever when my wife, Audra, was diagnosed with Stage IV metastatic breast cancer. It has been a long, grueling road marked by countless treatments, doctor visits, and an exhausting rollercoaster of hope and fear.
Through it all, Audra remained a warrior. About a year ago, we received the news we had prayed for: she was considered cancer-free everywhere except for one small, localized lump. We held onto that victory with everything we had, grateful for every extra day together.
A New Challenge
Recently, we hit a frightening setback. That small lump has doubled, if not tripled, in size. Today, Audra is undergoing a lumpectomy. This procedure is our best hope to finally rid her body of this last remaining "scourge" of cancer.
While we are ready to fight, the financial landscape has shifted. Due to recent changes in health insurance, the costs for today’s surgery, the upcoming rounds of chemotherapy, and the necessary medications have become an overwhelming burden that we simply cannot carry alone.
A Partnership of Strength
Audra was my rock during my own two brain surgeries. She supported me with a level of love and compassion that I can never fully repay. Now, it is my turn to be that rock for her. Beyond the emotional support I provide every day, I am reaching out to our community to ask for the financial support she needs to keep fighting.
How You Can Help
We are asking for donations to help cover:
• Out-of-pocket costs for today’s lumpectomy
• Upcoming chemotherapy treatments
• Ongoing cancer medications
Every dollar donated goes directly toward Audra’s medical bills and care. Whether you can give $5 or $50, or simply share this page with your network, your support makes a tangible difference for Audra and our family.
Thank you for standing with us in this next step. We are eternally grateful for your prayers, your kindness, and your generosity.
