Please Help Aubs Achieve Gender Affirming Surgery

Howdy Friends!

My name is Aubs! Whether we’ve met before or not, I want to thank you for taking the time to hear me out. I’ll keep this brief and to the point.

TL;DR: I’m a transgender man in need of financial assistance for top surgery, please!

My story:

I’ve known who I am for as long as I can remember. I’ve been publicly out using he/him pronouns for the past 10 years. For the last decade, I’ve been trying to save up for my dream of getting gender affirming top surgery, but despite my efforts, life’s challenges, as we all experience, have made it almost impossible to reach my goal.

As much as I wished to avoid asking for help, I find myself in a position where I truly need to. My body dysphoria has become overwhelmingly difficult to manage and wearing a restrictive binder every day for the past 10 years is taking a serious toll on my physical & mental health.

When your chest is compressed for long hours, the discomfort and pain become all encompassing and especially so during the hot months. I live in a valley & the heat can get really intense when you have to wear a binder with multiple layered fabrics.

Mentally, I’ve withdrawn and distanced myself from relationships due to my discomfort. It’s no way to live, and I’m reaching out now because I’m desperate for relief!

I’m incredibly close to making top surgery a reality—I’ve found a doctor and could potentially have surgery soon. However, my biggest obstacle is raising the necessary funds to make this happen.

I’ve avoided asking for help for a decade, but I’m at a point where I have no other choice and potentially a great opportunity….! Any support you can provide would mean the world to me and help me finally feel comfortable in my own body.
