Thursday, June 5, 2025 quickly turned into one of the scariest days of our lives. Our oldest daughter Aubrey was driving her car with our young son Jonah in the back seat to go pick up our youngest from boys & girls club when her car unexpectedly caught fire while she was driving. By the grace of God and the witnesses who stopped to help they were able to get them out of the car seconds before the car was quickly engulfed in flames. We are forever thankful for them and the quick action they took to make sure Aubrey and Jonah were okay. Unfortunately, her car was a complete and total loss as well as all of the personal belongings in it.
For those that don’t know, Aubrey is the most dedicated and determined person we know. Despite her health issues and all, she is a registered early graduate and is starting her senior year this year with a current 4.7 gpa. She was chosen by two area hospitals and is working two separate medical internships and has been working at In N Out since she turned 15 and a half. As you can see, with school and work, her car was her only means of transportation to get everywhere she needed to go and back home given the fact that our work schedules are all different.
If you know, you know that we do not ask for help and are very private with our lives, but after much thought and consideration, we are trying to raise funds to go directly to Aubrey to help her get into a simple, safe and reliable car so she can continue with all of her endeavors she has going on. Although she is very traumatized with what happened, we are putting our faith in God and realize he is in control at all times. We are praying this will help her and ease the burden and stress of starting over.
If you are able to help in any way, even a little please know that it would mean more than you know. Even if it’s just with a prayer for Aubrey and our son during this time it would be so greatly appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to read, share, contribute and/or pray. May God bless you always.
