My daughter, Aubrey, was nominated by her school to attend a STEM Leadership Camp this coming Summer. It's an amazing opportunity for her and she very much would like to attend. However, it is well outside the realm of our budget, so we are helping her fundraise.

Aubrey is a whirlwind, determined to be successful in anything she sets her mind to. She is a Girl Scout, a competitive gymnast, and the best daughter a Mom could ask for. Her teacher (who nominated her) says she is a role model to her peers, always willing to help anyone in class and treating everyone fairly and kindly. She says she's a natural-born leader who just needs a little push to believe in herself and she'll be unstoppable.

She is seeking scholarships that will cover about 15% of the cost and making and selling jewelry, but every extra little bit helps her to meet her goal.

As someone who was lucky enough to benefit from programs like this when I was younger, I know the impact STEM programs and Leaderships programs can have on a young girl's self-confidence, drive, and future success.
