As many of you know, Aubree fell last summer and had to undergo surgery to repair the fracture. Because of this, Aubree will need to undergo another important surgery related to her Osteogenesis Imperfecta on February 4th. This surgery is necessary to help stabilize both legs, reduce fractures, and support her ability to move and grow safely.
Following surgery, Aubree will need significant care and support. She will be completely non-weight bearing for 6 weeks, with both legs immobilized, and will need help with all mobility and daily needs. Recovery will take approximately 3 months total, including follow-up care and physical therapy.
Anna will need to take time off work in order to care for Aubree and support her well-being throughout this difficult season. Any support for Anna and their family during this time would mean the world.
Any contribution, share, or kind thought is deeply appreciated. Thank you for supporting our sweet Aubree and her family. ❤️
