My name is Auberon Webber, and this was my 15 year old baby boy Snap. For 15 years he's been the best companion I could ever ask for. On late monday evening, I walked into my door to find him panting like a dog. Realizing this was a serious medical emergency I drove him straight to the vet hospital. They found out his chest was coated in fluid and his heart was enlarged and thick/covered in the fluid, so much so they could barely detect a heartbeat.

They offered us a shot of saving him while making it apparently clear that his survival odds were not high, I opted to keep him overnight to give him the new medicine and drain the fluid in this chest to know in my heart that I did every single thing that I could. Initially the fluid tap worked, but then it was easier to see his heart which was no longer beating regularly. He had been having thyroid and kidney issues lately as well. Basically the treatments for all of these conditions is counterintuitive. Meaning the heart medicine screws with his kidneys and vice versa. After a night in the hospital the doctors ultimately said it was time to say goodbye.

I'm a photographer from LA who is currently unemployed and looking for more work. I spent every dollar I had just for the sheer shot of maybe getting him back for one more day, and sadly he we are. This gofundme is to help me pay for my medical bills that were used to keep him in the ER for 24 hours.
