Please help my family in Gaza

I am Mahmoud Kullab, 29 years old and live in Ghent in Belgium. I have one brother here in Belgium and the rest of my family lives in Gaza. I'm setting up this fundraiser because they have lost everything and need more money than we can give them.

My family's situation.

At the beginning of the war my family consisted of my mother, father, 6 siblings and their partners, and a total of 22 children. There are now 23 children, because my brother Mohanad became a father for the first time in the middle of this war. His wife gave birth to a son they named Khaled.

On January 27 we had to say goodbye to our mother. She was 55 years old and died in their tent of Rafah. She was diabetic and suffered greatly from the conditions in which she had to survive. In other circumstances she would certainly still have been there.

My family is currently staying in a tent camp in Rafah, after being evicted from our home in Shate, just north of Gaza City. We lost our family home and all our money to Israeli bombings.

Will you help me help my family?

My family needs financial support because they have no money to buy food or meet other basic needs. Moreover, they are looking for money to leave our beloved Palestine, because living conditions have become unbearable. I help them where I can, but I don't have enough money to help my whole family. Food is terribly expensive.

It's the first time I'm asking this, and I hate to ask, but will you please help me help them? Every donation, no matter how small, is welcome!

Ondertussen zijn dat al 23 kinderen, want mijn broer Mohanad is temidden deze oorlog voor de eerste keer vader geworden. Zijn vrouw bracht een zoontje ter wereld dat ze Khaled noemden.

Op 27 januari hebben wij afscheid moeten nemen van onze moeder. Zij was 55 jaar en stierf in hun tent van Rafah. Zij was diabeet, en leed enorm onder de omstandigheden waarin ze moeten overleven. In andere omstandigheden zou zij er zeker nog geweest zijn.

Mijn familie verblijft op dit moment in een tentenkamp in Rafah, nadat ze zijn verdreven uit ons huis in Shate, net ten noorden van Gaza-stad. We zijn ons ouderlijk huis en al ons geld kwijtgeraakt door Israëlische bombardementen.

Help je mij mijn familie te helpen?

Mijn familie heeft financiële steun nodig, omdat ze geen geld hebben om voedsel te kopen of in andere basisbehoeften te voorzien. Bovendien zijn ze op zoek naar geld om ons geliefde Palestina te verlaten, omdat de levensomstandigheden ondraaglijk zijn geworden. Ik help ze waar ik kan, maar ik heb niet genoeg geld om mijn hele gezin te helpen. Eten is verschrikkelijk duur.

Het is de eerste keer dat ik dit vraag, en ik vind het vervelend dat ik het moet vragen, maar wil je me alsjeblieft helpen hen te helpen? Iedere donatie, hoe klein ook, is welkom!
