Help Attiyah Overcome Financial Hurdles & Keep Her Apartment

Donation protected
Hey everyone! First off, I want to thank you for your generous donation towards helping me keep my apartment. Times are hard and any little bit helps. So let me start by telling you a bit of my back story.

I’m 27 years old, a pet mom of two (cat & dog) fur kids. Charlotte & Ally. I’m a former vet tech assistant and love all animals! As of January (2024) I decided to do a complete 360 and try to pursue my passion for make up. Long story short…things kinda back fired and I ended up with a position that has me “scraping penny’s” instead of being PAID to do what I love. You live and you learn. However, I am still currently working for the company and in the process of building my own clientele for freelance makeup work. None the less, I’m always grateful for an opportunity to work in my element. Here’s where things get sticky. For those of you who don’t know, I’ve been living in my own for a year and 6 months now. Up until yesterday (January 1st) I was splitting the cost of living with a roommate. Unfortunately, overtime tension between us brewed which led to her moving out. Let’s back track real fast. I moved in on January 31st 2023, still working as a vet tech. I then quit and started a new (less lucrative job) May of that year. Eventually picked up two part time jobs and was still able to get by. Now we fast forward, me and my roommate fell out and things got awkward which led to her moving out and not letting me know until 3 weeks before her set date, due to lack of communication.

Here is where you all come in. I’m currently looking for a roommate to sublet my second furnished bedroom. Until then, I have been approved for an extension on my rent until the 14th of this (June) month. Since it was such short notice, I’m not able to find a roommate for this current month and even with me still working every day, time is just not on my side. I need help coming up with the other half of my rent which will be $800 that includes my utilities.

I definitely work hard and will always do my best to fend for myself. However with times like these and me also having fur babies to feed I just need a little extra help this month. So if you can find it in your heart to donate any small amount of money it will be GREATLY appreciated. I am confident that my situation will workout for the best and with the help of my community, I know I can get myself back on track. Well all face bumps in the road but the drive is always a lot smoother with a village behind you.

Now what’s in it for YOU? Everyone needs to eat right?! I will be offering 2 meals per person who donates. The choices will be:

Fried Fish dinner w/two sides (TBD)
Fried Chicken Wing dinner w/two sides (TBD)
Curry Chicken dinner w/rice & pease/Cabbage

Those who donate out of state can still enjoy something delicious! A box of sweet treats!
A dozen brown butter chocolate chip cookies or half a blueberry lemon pound cake loaf! The reason for this is because baked goods do better with shipping & handling!

Thank you so much for taking time out to read my story.

Sincerely,
Attiyah, Ally & Charlotte
