My name is Attilla Alder, 33 years of age. I was diagnosed with diabetes at age 8 in the year 2000 and later with end stage kidney failure in the summer of 2017. The kidney failure took me by surprise and my body keep swelling up now. I have to do dialysis every night for 10 hours and it’s very costly plus the other medications for the diabetes. The diabetes is also affecting my eyes so every month I receive injections in my right eye. The kidney doctor is planning to get me a kidney and he told me about a pancreas transplant as well, but I need money to do the surgeries. I am currently undergoing evaluation with the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, and they outlined the cost which averages around $7,000 USD for post-surgery medication, an area near the hospital for a month, and loss of income for the caregiver. Insurance is already covering the cost for the medications which are lifetime immuno-depressants so that the body can accept the new kidney and pancreas. Please I am very hopeful and prayerful in getting a new kidney and pancreas so I am asking earnestly for any help I can get. It will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much and God bless.
