After having headaches almost everyday, one of our paramedics in Attala was found to have a growth in his skull. After multiple scans and doctors visits, they have determined it is not cancerous but will still need to go in and remove the growth and repair damage. He has had no hearing in his left ear since he was around six years old due to a Cholesteatoma. At one of his appointments, his doctor recommended a BAHA (Bone Anchored Hearing Aid) implant which he was able to test out that day. That was the first time in almost 18 years he has been able to have hearing on his left side. With that being said, to be able to get the implant he will have to pay for it out of pocket due to insurance not covering the implant. We are trying to help him out every way we can. Please consider helping us help one of our own during this time. If you can’t help, please keep him and his wife in your prayers over the next few weeks as they prepare for the surgery and the recovery. Thank you again
