Atom is a tiny Yorkie puppy who came into our lives thanks to a call from our favorite rescue. They knew we had experience caring for medically fragile dogs and asked if we could provide a loving home for Atom, who was facing a lot of health challenges. Even though we knew he would need extra care, Atom’s spirit won us over immediately. He’s a little fighter and always manages to be a happy guy, despite everything he’s been through.

Since bringing Atom home, we’ve worked closely with internal medicine specialists to understand his needs and rule out certain conditions. Now, Atom needs to see neurology and orthopedic experts to figure out why he isn’t able to walk. There are significant expenses ahead for his ongoing care, including advanced imaging, therapy, and possible equipment to help him move more comfortably. Every dollar raised will go directly toward Atom’s medical bills, special physical therapy, and any braces or equipment he may need to improve his quality of life.
