Atlas is our beloved 7-year-old dog, and he holds a special place in our family—especially for my wife, who has cared for him since he was a baby puppy. Recently, we opened a coffee shop near downtown DeLand, pouring all our resources and energy into this dream because we felt called to make a positive impact in our community. During our soft opening week, we received a call from our daughter saying Atlas was acting strangely and couldn't walk properly. We rushed home and discovered that something was seriously wrong with his neck. Now, Atlas is unable to walk at all, and the only option is a surgery that we simply do not have the funds for after investing everything into our new business.

The funds raised will go directly toward Atlas's surgery and his rehabilitation. Without this urgent help, Atlas will not survive much longer. The doctor has ruled out cancer, but the issue in his neck requires immediate attention. We are heartbroken and desperate to give Atlas the chance he deserves to recover and enjoy more years with our family.
