Exciting news from Atlantic Critters Rescue! After months of prep time, and a lot of hard work, our rescue building is finally ready to open! We will be moving our small collection of current critters into our new space this week, and are happy to announce that we are almost ready to open the floodgates for new surrenders. We anticipate having more space than we did previously, and hope to be able to send more animals than ever to their forever homes!
Even more exciting news- while renovating our building, we decided to commit to another big change: we are installing fencing to allow us to take in unwanted farm animals. We have already committed to housing a homeless emu and taking in some goats in need of a place to stay. This process is ongoing, and by the time we are fully finished we aim to have a six foot fence to keep our critters safe, as well as a 10×20 barn they can go into to get out of the elements.
As always, we thank our supporters so much. We would have been unable to do any of what we do without your continued support. We continue to ask for your financial support, but are also excited to announce that we're now at the point where we will need more in person volunteers, so if you've ever wanted to get hands on with our critters, now could be your chance!
