My father and brother lost everything when a sudden fire swept through Atkinson, Georgia. The fire was so fast and intense that Georgia forestry officials had to evacuate them immediately, leaving no time to grab clothes, phones, wallets, or any personal belongings. My father is disabled and relies on oxygen, which made the situation even more urgent and frightening. Their home and all their possessions were destroyed in moments, leaving them with nothing but the clothes they were wearing.

The funds raised will help them cover immediate needs like housing, food, medical supplies, clothes, and anything else required until they can find a stable home again. Every dollar will go directly toward helping them rebuild their lives and regain some sense of normalcy after this devastating loss. I know many families in our community lost their homes, cherished memories, and even beloved pets because of the fire.
