Help Athena's Family Rebuild Their Lives

I set up this GoFundMe for my really good friend, Athena, and her family. Athena is someone who stepped in and helped me in one of the roughest times of my life. She was the first to realize that our precious daughter, Haven, had autism. With her degree in Childhood Development, Athena worked with Haven and directed us to the support systems we needed to give Haven a great start in life. Athena was pivotal in helping Haven become the person she is today. Now Athena, her husband, Tim, and their son, James, need our help.

Shortly after the birth of little James, they moved to Ecuador. They lived there for 12 years in a kind of bartering system. Since being in Ecuador, they have discovered that their son, James, has autism, and they have decided to move back to the U.S. to get the support they desperately need for him.

Athena, Tim, and James have now arrived back in the States without any belongings except for their luggage. They have been able to rent an apartment but have nothing to put into the apartment. Please join me in helping Athena, Tim, and James get back on their feet.
