Athena is my brown pitbull, and she’s been with me since the day she was born. Her father was also my pet, so Athena has always been a cherished part of my family. She’s a sweet, loving girl who brings so much joy to my life every day.

On January 13th, Athena was attacked by a loose pitbull in our neighborhood. The attack left her with a deep wound that needed immediate medical attention. She had to be sedated so the vet could stitch her up and make sure she was safe and comfortable. It was a frightening and heartbreaking experience for both of us, and seeing her in pain was incredibly difficult.

All of the funds raised here will go directly toward Athena’s vet bills, including the emergency procedure, sedation, and the medication she needs for her recovery. We haven’t been able to find the owner of the dog who attacked her, so we’re facing these unexpected expenses on our own. We appreciate any help towards this fund—Athena didn’t deserve what happened, and your support means the world to us as we help her heal from this tragic incident.
