Help Athena Rebuild Her Home
On the evening of June 3rd, my mother's house was set on fire by a trespasser. Nothing was salvageable and the person responsible is not being forced to repay the damages. It was nearly to completion after more than 3 years of much time and money being invested.
If you know Athena Draper, you know how important she is within our small Native American community in Chinle, AZ and our family. As the general manager of the DCI shopping center, she is essential to the community having access to their most important needs. She also ensures the property grounds are well-kept for everyone’s use.
Most importantly, Athena is a loving grandmother, mother, daughter, and sister. As her youngest daughter, I've watched her always going above and beyond for our family and everyone else around us. She is the sweetest, most selfless person I've ever known. This house was the only thing that was finally going to be hers.
I am asking the community, family, and anyone else I can reach, please help my mom who has done nothing but give and give, to now, return her kindness.
Please help my mom rebuild her home. Anything would help and be much appreciated.
