Hi ya'll fun fact! In the state of Colorado, you can be accused of and convicted of child sexual assault and if the charges are not for you assaulting your own child you still are allowed to have parental rights to your child.
We are raising funds on behalf of Lyric James so that he can hire an attorney to have Aaliyah Quintanilla's rights terminated so that she can never place her 18-month-old daughter, Athena, in harm's way again.
Here's a small list of how she has placed her daughter in danger:
- Left her child unsupervised in the presence of a known agressive dog. The dog bit Athena's face causing massive damage to her face where she needed emergency surgery to save her life.
- Has drank bleach, cut her wrist, and has attempted to unalive herself multiple times in front of her daughter.
- She left Athena on someone's doorstep when she stole her friends car and purposely crashed it into a tree.
- While her daughter was undergoing emergency surgery she was texting people for drugs. She asked another girl if she would watch her the day she got out of the hospital so she could go party for her 19th birthday.
- She has used illegal substances in the presence of her daughter.
- She kidnapped a 14-year-old boy who she has been having relations with. She is now facing multiple felony charges in conjunction with her previous criminal history.
- On multiple occasions, she has left Athena with a babysitter overnight that she has never met before.
- She was recently in the company of another convicted sex offer when she had her daughter on supervised visitation.
- Got in a physical altercation with a minor all while Athena watched during her "supervised" visitation.
The state of Colorado does not view any of these things as a direct reason to terminate her parental rights. Lyric was informed today during his custody status conference that if he would like to terminate Aaliyah's rights he would have to hire an attorney.
We the family believe that if Athena ever has an unsupervised visit with her mother she will either kidnap her or unalive her on purpose or accident because she is a selfish person who needs help.
