Help Athena fight glioblastoma

As many of you have heard, Athena was recently diagnosed (April 2020) with grade IV glioblastoma. This is a highly aggressive, malignant brain tumor.  Although there is currently no cure for glioblastoma, treatment consist of surgical resection, chemotherapy, radiation, and clinical trials. The treatments are aimed at keeping the tumor controlled for months or years.  

Athena, James, and Lucy need our help during this stressful time. Not only will there be medical expenses that aren't covered by insurance, but there will be significant expenses associated with clinical trials and travel related to those trials, as well as the cost of egg harvesting prior to starting chemo and radiation. 

Athena says it best when she told me "I know it will be the fight of my life and that scares me to my core, but I will fight!" We know Athena is a fighter, so let's do everything we can to give her all the support she needs to fight this battle.
