Hello, my name is Nadège. My husband and I are asylum seekers from Haiti. On September 15th my husband was detained by ICE while he was working. We have a 1 year old daughter who we love dearly. She really misses her father, and she cries for him when she sees his parked car. My husband was the primary wage earner for our family and now in addition to his absence, we are facing paying rent, utilities, food bills, and now legal fees for my husband on our own. Our family is facing an emotional and financial crisis due to this situation.
