Help ASU Club Volleyball Go to Nationals!
Hello! We are the ASU Women’s Club Volleyball Team :) We operate much like club sports in high school, except we compete at the collegiate level both locally and nationally. Our girls are also studying a variety of majors from sports broadcasting to biomedical science, and we take our academics just as seriously as we take our sport!
Our program won 3rd place at nationals in 2019 and were Mountain West Conference Championship Runner-ups in 2020. This year our team took second in the SCCVL Desert Series Challenge 1 and then placed first in the SCCVL Desert Series Challenge 2!
Our girls have the opportunity to play at The Adult Open National Championships 2021 in Louisville, Kentucky on May 28th-31st. Due to budget cuts as a result of COVID, we no longer have the funding we need to be able to cover hotel costs and the tournament fee. Any donations would go directly to covering these costs, and we would greatly appreciate your support!
Here’s some safety precautions our team has taken during this time: every girl is tested for COVID weekly, players must quarantine for two weeks if they test positive for COVID and practice is cancelled, and players must wear masks at each practice.
Additionally, all of our girls I’ll be vaccinated by the first week of May!
