Friends and Family:

Late Thursday night our mom was rushed to Petaluma Valley Hospital due to severe head and neck pains where it was discovered she had an aneurysm.

Scans showed she had bleeding on the brain and had to be transported to San Francisco where specialists could better treat her. Yesterday morning she had surgery to release fluids in her brain and stop the bleeding which was successful. 

She has a long road to recovery and will undergo weeks of treatment and therapy before she can return back to a some what regular life. Short term, she is expected to be at the hospital for the next few weeks. Long term we are not sure what the extent of care she will need and if/when she can return to work. Naturally, this will be a huge financial strain for her. Donations of any size would mean she can get the recovery she needs and can pay her rent and medical bills during this time.
