Hi everyone,

This is incredibly difficult for me to write, but I’m asking for help for my dog, Astrid.

Astrid is my 6 year old husky and truly my whole world. This past Friday, she was attacked and bitten by a Malinois. She sustained a deep bite wound just behind her front left leg on her chest and required emergency veterinary care, including 6 stitches.

Since the attack, the vet bills have continued to climb and are currently around $2,750, with additional follow-up care still likely. I’ve been doing everything I can to cover the costs, but I’m quickly running out of money and don’t want finances to be the thing that limits her care or recovery.

Astrid is strong, sweet, and doing her best to heal, but she still needs ongoing treatment, monitoring, and possible additional procedures to prevent infection and complications. Asking for help like this isn’t something I ever thought I’d do, but right now it’s the only way I can make sure she gets everything she needs.
