My name is Meagan Brown. On August 31st, 2025, I had to say goodbye to my dad, Ray Brown. He was born January 24th, 1975. My dad was my hero, my best friend. He had been suffering from end-stage congestive heart failure. He was on his way to get a heart transplant until his heart became too weak, which caused organ failure.

I am not one to ask for help, but this time I need help. I’m starting a GoFundMe to help pay for my dad’s cremation fees as well as help to save for a memorial service. I know memorials usually happen right after something like this happens, but this is my first time losing a loved one close to me.

I don’t have enough words to explain how amazing my dad was. As a father to me and my two brothers, a husband to my mother, and overall the best friend I could have ever asked for. God truly blessed me with the most amazing dad. I don’t like how I now have to mourn him longer than I have known him. Anything helps at all. Thank you for your time and your help.
