Help assist Wayne as he recovers from his injury

My name is Michael Sibley. I am the Chaplain of Eastern State Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Recently, we had one of our nurses hurt badly in an instance of workplace violence. Wayne has been a nurse serving those living with psychiatric illness for many years. He is known for his kindness and compassion for others. Wayne is always quick to offer a kind word, smile, care, and understanding to the patients and staff. He is known and loved by his colleagues. Sadly, Wayne received a brain injury due to his injuries in the incident. He also suffered a severe back injury that required surgery. At this time, Wayne has a long road to recovery and is out of work for the foreseeable future. We hope to raise money for Wayne and his wife to cover medical expenses and other needs as Wayne is out of work.
