On Tuesday, November 2nd, the "team from the Pueblo" has a chance to make history!
We are underdogs. We just tied Medellin 2-2 at home and now we must travel to their field. Our stories-- our lives and our triumphs must be told. We dream of being National Football Champions of Colombia and it is within reach. We are a sports club that was developed to help the children of the Pueblo of Santa Rosa, Bolivar, located 30 minutes from Cartagena, Colombia. Here in the pueblo, opportunities are scarce and basic needs are not easy to come by. We share water from the common well. We share what we have amongst each other. We all know each other. We are a true community and we are grateful that we have shelter and we have food. Although life is not easy, it is centered around supporting our neighbors and helping your community. We are making history before our eyes making it to the semi-finals of the National Colombian Soccer tournament. We must travel to Medellin to play the game to make it to the finals. Although our world is small, we know that it is big and we are hopeful to be able to explore it. Your contribution will give us a chance to prepare, travel, make history and live our dream.
