Aspen is our pitbull, our best friend, and truly our soul dog. If you know us, then you know how much Aspen means to our family. It started out as Aspen and Taylor in college after she was rescued, and Aspen has grown up right alongside us through every season of life. She was there when we moved in together, when we got engaged, and when we got married. She is the spunkiest pitbull with a heart of gold, and right now she is fighting a severe case of Valley Fever. Her titer is 1:16, and she has been in the ICU for over a week as we do everything we can to help her pull through.

We are now transitioning Aspen from ICU care to at-home care in hopes of lowering our medical bills while also keeping her as comfortable as possible as she continues to fight this horrible infection. The funds raised will go directly toward her vet bills and continued medical care so we can keep giving her the support and treatment she needs. To be completely honest, it is very hard for us to ask for help like this, and we feel uncomfortable and ashamed needing support. We never imagined having to put our hearts out this way, but Aspen means everything to us, and we are willing to do whatever we can for her.
