I am the mother of five children: Youssef (9), Sham (7), Mohammed (4), Fawzi (15 months) and Abdullah (2 months).

My children once had a wonderful life. They had toys and a beautiful cat that they cared for. They had dreams they wanted to fulfil, but the war came and shattered them. On 12 July 2024, our home was bombed. My husband's brother and his children were killed and all of my children and I were injured.

Since then, my family and I have been displaced several times and have had to live with the sounds of death and destruction every day. Now we have nothing left.

I have metal plates in my spine. The heat and sun cause me unbearable pain, making life in a tent impossible.

My children are very afraid of the sounds of bombs and planes. As a mother, I don't know what to do. I am unable to help them; everything needed for newborns is almost impossible to find, and what is available is extremely expensive.

The famine in Gaza is getting worse, and the killing and destruction are continuing unabated.

As before, food prices are extremely high. They are almost twenty times higher than before the blockade. Two tomatoes can cost $20! Bread flour remains scarce, and food is limited to basic staples such as sugar, oil, rice, pasta, lentils, chickpeas and canned goods. Sometimes even spices. Clean water is scarce. On top of all that, 50% of every donation we receive goes to currency dealers due to the scarcity of cash in the Gaza Strip.

This is not normal life. It is famine; it is annihilation; it is a simple struggle for survival in conditions of extreme violence.

Please help my family; we are in desperate need of your kindness. I urgently ask you to support me and my children.
