Hello, my name is Asma, I am 22 years old, I study finance and banking, and I have a beautiful family consisting of my father Shaaban, who is 55 years old, my mother Mona, who is 46 years old, my brother Abdul Karim, who is 19 years old, my brother Mohammed, who is 14 years old, and my sister Hanan, who is 17 years old.

We had a warm home, a beautiful life, and goals and ambitions that we strive to achieve.

Until the war came and destroyed everything we built in the blink of an eye, nothing was the same again, neither the house nor the dreams.

We live in Gaza City, specifically in the Nasr neighborhood, and when the war came, we were displaced from our home to my uncle’s house under the bombing. We were not spared there either. When the army invaded Kamal Adwan Hospital, we were forced to leave the northern Gaza Strip to the southern one through the Netzarim checkpoint. Then the army arrested my little sister for more than 8 continuous hours, after which they released her. We had moved to our relatives’ house in Khan Yunis and stayed there for 15 days. We were displaced again under the bombing to the Nuseirat camp in the middle of the Gaza Strip.

Here we are until this moment moving from place to place in the Nuseirat camp, where living here is very expensive, food is not widely available and if it is available it is at a very high price, we do not have universities currently as the university was bombed, I would like to complete my education outside the Gaza Strip.
