Thank you for your prayers for the Askey family. Last night, on 9/15/2021, the barn caught fire. Fortunately, everyone is okay except for a few 2nd degree burns. The whole building was a loss, including a lot of farm equipment, mowers, and many family heirlooms. As far as animals go, the camel is safe and has been temporarily relocated, a few chickens and cats were running around during the fire, but they lost all three goats, several chickens, a turkey and possibly some cats.

They are thankful that everyone is okay. There is a lot that need replaced, and providing shelter for the animals that made it out alive is of great importance. If you can give to help cover the costs of what insurance does not cover and help them get what they need in the immediate future, your donation is appreciated.
