Help Asjad and her Family Escape War in Sudan

Hello! I am making this gofundme on behalf of Asjad (or as friends lovingly call her joodz) to help her and the other 5 members of her family escape the ongoing war in Sudan. Money will be going towards flights and accommodations towards Egypt and some extra to help the family settle as they process an extremely traumatizing experience.

Here are some words from her:

I'm the eldest of 4 siblings, I just got to have my final exams in med school.

I have one brother who entered university last year and 2 sisters, 1 in high school and the other in middle school. We weren't well off before the war but we were getting by. We lived in a rental but we managed.

My dad would work as a taxi driver in his car after his hours at a government job. My mother is housewife.

She couldn't work because her health won't allow her.

She has diabetes, thyroid, rheumatoid arthritis and disk prolapse.When the war started we couldn't leave because we didn't have the means and we used every single penny we own and have been living off the help of our relatives for months. We had to evacuate our house and were internally displaced last October after multiple harassment incidents.

At that time my father's car (the only item of value we own) was stolen.The place we seeked shelter in (still inside Khartoum) is getting worse and worse by the day. Bombing and frequent clashes.

Besides the electricity that has been out since the first day of Ramadan, the network that has been out since the 7th of February and the groceries that double in price with each passing day.

Please help Joodz and her family be able to safely evacuate this extremely urgent issue! All donations are so deeply appreciated by the family. Let’s help this family reach safety in Egypt❤️
