Dear Community,

We are a vulnerable couple facing immediate homelessness in London, and we are reaching out for an urgent lifeline.

For 22 years, our family lived in a stable home. During the final three years of my father's life, my wife and I dedicated ourselves to caring for him through a prolonged illness until he sadly passed away. Following his death, we suffered the sudden and traumatic loss of our long-term family home when we were evicted from the property.

Left with nowhere to go and no family to take us in, we have had to self-fund emergency temporary accommodation in a budget hotel room to ensure we have a safe, warm place to stay off the streets.

Paying for this hotel room over the past several months has completely exhausted our life savings, and our bank balance has dwindled to just a few hundred pounds. As we are both unemployed, and I am medically unfit for work, our basic monthly welfare benefits are insufficient to cover the nightly room costs, which total £1,250.00 per month.

Additionally, the Council did not provide temporary accommodation before our eviction, nor did they offer any form of support.

The Toll on My Health: The trauma of losing my father and our home has severely impacted my health. I am currently living with clinically diagnosed depression, generalised anxiety disorder, high blood pressure, and severe cognitive "brain fog," making it incredibly difficult to manage daily tasks and paperwork. My devoted wife serves as my informal carer, helping me navigate our community and ensuring my safety.

Why We Urgently Need Your Support: We are actively appealing our housing case with the assistance of legal advocates and our local MP to secure safe, permanent, council accommodation. However, the legal review process takes time. While we wait for a decision, we must continue paying for our temporary hotel room to avoid being forced onto the streets.

Every donation, no matter how small, goes directly toward keeping a roof over our heads. Your support provides a vulnerable family with the safety, dignity, and breathing space we need to survive this storm and rebuild our lives.

We humbly appeal to kind-hearted individuals, donors, charities, and organizations who may be able to support us during this difficult time. Any help, however small, would mean a great deal to us. We are happy to provide relevant documents and supporting evidence upon request for complete transparency.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your incredible kindness, prayers, and support.

With all our gratitude,

Asim & My Wife
