Help Asila in the Fight Against a Rare Illness
Donation protected

Hello all,
We are reaching out to you on behalf of a remarkable individual, Asila Folds, who is currently facing an unforeseen and challenging situation. Asila is a second-year graduate student at the University of Georgia, pursuing a degree in music therapy. Her warm and vibrant personality has touched the lives of everyone around her, brightening up every room she walks into.
On Monday, December 4th, Asila was admitted to the hospital and diagnosed with a very rare and severe disorder called Stevens-Johnson Syndrome, which resulted from an adverse reaction to medication. Recently, her disease has advanced to its most severe form called Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis Syndrome. She is currently undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit, and the road to recovery is expected to be long and arduous.
As many of you know, being a graduate student already comes with financial constraints. With the addition of this unexpected medical crisis and the potential for an extended hospital stay, Asila is facing a significant financial burden. We believe in the power of community and are reaching out to ask for your support during this challenging time.
We have set up this GoFundMe to help Asila with living expenses and medical bills. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference. We kindly ask that you consider donating whatever you can, even if it's just $1, to support Asila on her journey to recovery.
Your generosity will not only provide financial relief but also serve as a source of strength and encouragement for Asila and her loved ones. We are committed to keeping you updated on her progress and sincerely appreciate your thoughts, prayers, and any support you can offer.
Thank you in advance for your kindness and compassion. Together, we can make a positive impact on Asila's life during this difficult time.
