Hi, my name is Alex Martin and I'm fund raising for Asif...Asif spent years keeping people safe on their visits to Afghanistan. He served as security leader, expert driver, linguist, tour guide and friend to hundreds of people over the years. He risked his life day in and day out to make sure we were safe and cared for, and did so always with the most contagious enthusiasm and kindness. Asif is now in America with his wife - he has gotten a job and working hard - his immigrant story IS the story of America. He helped so many of our people for so many years and now he is here among us on a visa and a path to citizenship and now he needs our help. My goal is to raise enough money for them to have a bed and a few comfort items in their home so they can feel as welcome in their new homeland as they made me feel everytime I visited theirs.

There's a lot of uncertainty right now for Asif's family back in Afghanistan, but one thing is for sure, he is now one of us...and my call to action is we show him a nice warm American "welcome." Thank you for reading and please support Asif!
