Time is of the essence, please help. My elderly mother, the only family and consistent presence in my life has left me flying solo. She's an Asian holocaust survivor that battled advanced ALS in November of 2021 and received her angelic wings in January of 2022. In her childhood, she advocated for a mother cat and her litter that was about to meet a violent end. In her adulthood, the Pol Pot Regime took over her country, Cambodia, thus began hell on earth. In her golden years, she disembarked a bus, was mugged and beaten, and has scars for life. In spite of all this, by example, she has taught me to love animals and to continually choose to believe the best in humanity. She has nothing to her name except the small burial plot that was gifted to her long ago. She never asked for much in life and her final wish is burial in Southern CA. Please help me honor her last wish.

Time is of the essence, a deadline looming, please help. My elderly mother, the only immediate family and consistent presence in my life, has left me flying solo.
She was born and raised in Cambodia and life was hard for their farming family of nine. In her childhood, my Mom advocated for a stray mother cat and her litter that was about to meet a violent end. Suddenly, there were seven extra mouths to feed, adding to their already strained family budget. Her grade school education didn’t offer up much opportunity and even though life gave her an orchard full of lemons, she did her best to make lemonade. There were many times when the sugar wasn’t present and available, thus leaving her with nothing but lemon juice and water. Even with that, she was content and pressed forward.
In her adulthood, the Pol Pot Regime took over and thus began hell on earth. Her marriage to my father resulted in a forced abortion of their first-born by regime soldiers that sadistically found joy in the suffering of others. In spite of this, she chose to believe the best in humanity. In her golden years, she was mugged and beaten after disembarking a bus with groceries in hand. The perpetrators made off with the change in her purse, leaving her physical and emotional scars for life. In spite of this, she chose to believe the best in humanity.
By example and as long-standing Humane Society members, she taught me to love and care for all animals. By example, she taught me to do good by others. By example, she taught me to always choose forgiveness over fury.
Her mega dream was to operate orphanages on all seven continents. It pains her to see children sift through dump sites to find food. Sadly, that dream never came to fruition. In November of 2021 she was diagnosed with advanced ALS and she received her angelic wings in January of 2022.
She has absolutely nothing to her name except the small burial plot that was gifted to her so long ago. Her final wish is to spend eternity lying next to my grandmother. In keeping with her frugal spirit, we will forgo a funeral service. I am pleading for financial help with the transporting, Northern CA to Southern CA, and simple burial. She had a harsh life and has asked for nothing in return except to be buried next to her mother. In life I was only able to provide her with a precarious living situation where there was no security and she was repeatedly harassed to the point of tears, causing her blood pressure to rise. Please help me honor her final wish.
