Hi everyone. I’m Marilia, Alina’s mom.

Our family would like to start a fundraiser to support Asia, who has recently been dealing with ongoing health issues. She has already needed one ER visit and one urgent care visit, and because she does not currently have health insurance, I can imagine the financial burden has been incredibly stressful.

I’m an internal medicine physician, and based on what she has been experiencing, I believe she may need further evaluation, including a CT scan. The most affordable cash price I was able to find for this imaging was around $700.

Asia has not asked me to do this, and I truly hope this does not come across as pushy in any way. I simply care about her, appreciate everything she does for our children, and wanted to create an opportunity for anyone who may wish to help.

Asia gives so much of herself to our kids each day with kindness, patience, and dedication. I would love for our school community to come together to support her during a difficult time.
