Hi, my name is Asia G., and I never imagined I would be in a position where I needed to ask for help—but right now, I truly do.
I’m 27 years old and working both a full-time and part-time job while putting myself through Physical Therapist Assistant school. Since graduating in 2022, I’ve been doing everything I can to build a stable future—continuing my education, paying off student loans, and managing my day-to-day responsibilities independently.
Recently, life has become overwhelming in ways I couldn’t have prepared for. I suffered a torn Achilles and underwent surgery, and I am currently in physical therapy rehab while still paying off the medical bills from that procedure. At the same time, I’ve been dealing with ongoing health issues related to fibroids and anemia, which have caused my iron levels to drop dangerously low. I now need iron transfusions just to prepare my body for an upcoming myomectomy surgery.
Balancing my recovery, school tuition, existing student loans, monthly living expenses, and now multiple medical bills has become incredibly difficult. Despite working as much as I can, I feel like I’m falling behind financially and emotionally. It feels like everything has hit at once, and I’m doing my best to stay afloat—but I can’t do it alone anymore.
I am asking for help to cover my medical expenses, including my upcoming surgery, iron treatments, and ongoing rehabilitation, as well as to ease the burden of tuition and essential living costs during this time. Every contribution, no matter the size, would go directly toward helping me stay on track with my health, my education, and my future.
If you’re unable to donate, sharing my story would mean just as much to me. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any support you can offer. It truly means more than I can put into words.
