Hello, this is Ashuah! He is an 9-month-old fluffy ball of kitten energy. I got him to help give Kitcat (my 9-year-old kitty) a friend since I work various shifts that cause me to be away. He has added a lot of happiness and laughs to our little family.

At the end of January, I took him to get neutered. It went well, but the vet told me he only had one testicle and that we would need to follow up in 2 months for more tests. He recovered well, and in March, I took him back to have more tests done and blood work to check testosterone levels (yes, for my tiny kitty). That was inconclusive, and the vet said that he will run more tests in 6 months.

This past April, I've noticed him acting funny, crying when he goes potty, and having issues. Something just felt off to me, so I took him to a different vet to get a second opinion. The vet I saw had lots of questions and gave me insight that he most likely has a second testicle; it's inbound (cryptorchidism) in his abdomen. They gave me a list of referrals because this surgery requires more extensive care then what they could offer.

I’m thankful to have found an animal hospital and a specialist vet that can do the surgery, since this requires the use of ultrasound. We’re finally getting answers for my kitty boy.

This is a first for me, so far I've put hundreds into the blood work and consultations with various vets. With the most recent visit the estimate for the surgery is close to $1,500. I'm hoping to cover his expenses fully and get him the help he needs as soon as possible to avoid more serious health issues. If you could please share this or donate, I'd greatly appreciate it.

He definitely is the strangest kitty I've had. By the random things he does and plastic toys he brings me, or his meows that fill my home.
