Our dear friend and neighbor, Ashton, has been incapacitated by a herniated disc in her spine and resulting nerve damage that has had her intermittently hospitalized for multiple day stretches and multiple surgeries. She is unable to work or care for her two children. The prognosis is still at this time uncertain and she and her partner have had to dip into savings to cover costs of living and extra childcare expenses, all before any medical bills have even surfaced. These expenses are going to be substantial to say the least.

Our friends are truly going through a financially stressful and emotionally challenging time with this unexpected debilitating injury.
