We are raising funds to support Ashton Patrick, an incredibly talented young karateka from a small town in Oxfordshire, who has just qualified to represent England at the Senior World Championships in Cairo.
Ashton’s karate journey began at the age of just three years old, training under the dedicated guidance of his dad. Through years of hard work, passion, and relentless dedication, he has risen to the top of the sport:
U21 European Champion
WKF Youth League Medallist
Multiple English & British Champion
Proud member of the England Karate Squad
This incredible achievement is the result of thousands of hours of training, early mornings, and sacrifices made by Ashton and his family. Now, he has earned the chance to compete against the world’s best on the biggest stage of his career — the Senior World Championships.
Why we need your support
Karate is a self-funded sport in England. Unlike many other national teams, athletes receive no central funding, meaning travel, accommodation, equipment, and competition fees must be paid for personally.
We’re asking for your help to get Ashton to Cairo and give him the best possible chance to achieve his dream of becoming a World Champion.
Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference. It will go directly towards:
✈️ Travel & flights
Accommodation
Entry & competition fees
Meals and training expenses
Ashton wears the England badge with pride, and this is an incredible opportunity not just for him, but for our entire community to support one of our own as he represents his country on the world stage.
Please consider donating or sharing this page to help make Ashton’s dream a reality.
Thank you so much for your support
