Help Ashton recover from devastating fire
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Cheryl Bancroft. At 12:30 am on Thursday, December 2nd, my daughter, Ashton, called me in a panic. Her apartment was on fire.
The fire occurred at her apartment building in The Lakes at Bellevue in Nashville, Tennessee. It started near her balcony, and quickly grew into a wall of flame. Everyone in the building was evacuated safely as emergency responders fought to contain the fire. Unfortunately, they were fighting right in her living room.
At this point, no one is allowed into the building due to dangerous structural damage. This means that she has no access to anything except what she ran out of the building carrying early Thursday morning. Even when she is able to enter the building again, there is no telling what, if anything, will be salvageable. And to top it off, both of Ashton’s cats are still missing. One has been spotted, and we believe the other is still in the building.
Luckily, the apartment complex has another unit she can move into quickly. But it’s empty. We are raising funds for our daughter to be able to start to build her life back up. Regrettably, she did not have renter’s insurance, so any assistance will be helpful and forever appreciated.
Thank you. Please keep our daughter and her fur babies in your thoughts.
