My fiancé Qupid and I have been proud members of the St. Louis drag and LGBTQ+ community for years. Qupid has performed and supported others for over 15 years, and together we’ve both held community Pride organization titles in the last three years. We’re always out supporting our friends, attending shows, and giving back whenever we can. Over the past five years, I’ve personally contributed thousands to help other entertainers and causes in our city. This community helped me find myself, and it’s been a privilege to give back.

Recently, our only car was involved in an accident when someone pulled out in front of Qupid. The car is now undriveable, and insurance isn’t able to help due to a lack of a police report. We both rely on this car for everything—getting to work, performing, and supporting our friends. On top of urgent car repairs, we’re also trying to manage debt from being unemployed for the first quarter of the year, past emergencies, family court, and college. Being without a car has caused us to miss work and show opportunities, the stress of finding rides, and to struggle even more to keep up with our bills. Our dream is to get back on our feet, repair my car, and eventually become a two-car household again so we can regain our independence and continue uplifting our community.

We’re so grateful for the love and support we’ve received from friends, fans, and fellow performers—whether you’ve donated to our pageant fundraisers, helped when our car window was busted, or just come out to a show. Your kindness means the world to us. Any help now would ease so much emotional and physical strain, and allow us to return to the positive, supportive roles we love in our community.
